Roland Schuldt Joins KOBAU Executive Board

Roland Schuldt, a seasoned expert in all matters concerning power plants, joined the KOBAU Executive Board on October 1, 2020. In his role as Chief Operations Officer, he will assist CEO Andreas Haars, who in the future will focus on his responsibilities as Head of the ROBUR ENERGY Business Unit and, moreover, on the financial topics of KOBAU.

“Roland has almost 40 years of experience and worked in nuclear power for many years. In my eyes, he is the perfect right-hand man to help with the continued successful growth of KOBAU in particular and ROBUR ENERGY in general,” says Andreas Haars about Roland Schuldt coming on board.

Roland Schuldt is a “hands-on” expert with a sound understanding of technical details. After completing his training to become a maintenance technician and certified metalworking foreman, he was able to apply and expand his technical know-how in several industries and fields. He has spent the last 15 years working as a project manager at RIS in the power plant sector, with the last four spent as CEO of RIS before coming over to KOBAU.

“I’ve known Andreas and KOBAU for quite some time; we often ran into each other on construction sites. I am happy to share my experience and goal-oriented mindset with KOBAU and the entire ROBUR organization. My “sleeves up” mentality is precisely the way of thinking that makes ROBUR stand out. Together we are prepared to take on major projects – that is, KOBAU itself, working with our affiliate company SAT Kerntechnik but also in ROBUR as one unit. And that’s what I’m really looking forward to with this team,” highlights Roland Schuldt in conclusion.
