CONGIV joins ROBUR – Expansion of the group’s digital and network expertise
Munich, 15.10.2020 The E2E network specialist, CONGIV GmbH, will become part of ROBUR Industry Service Group GmbH, backdated to 1 January 2020. The new partner is therefore strengthening the group’s service portfolio for the digital transformation of industry and industrial services, adding E2E and 5G expertise.
Founded in 2015 to find new approaches for the evolving industrial services sector, assist its customers’ digital transformation and support them in their ecological change, ROBUR is reinforcing its digital service portfolio by adding Pöcking-based CONGIV GmbH to the group. Andreas Vollmer, Managing Director of CONGIV, will also become a ROBUR Partner.
CONGIV is a consulting and service company that has its origins in the telecommunications sector. The firm provides engineering, development and testing services for complex IT infrastructures, such as for IoT/Industry 4.0 solutions. The company uses its profound communication technology expertise, among other things, for the growing digitalisation of industry that is currently underway, which is associated with the implementation of the 5G mobile network standard. CONGIV’s customer base includes notable telecommunications and industrial firms in a wide range of sectors.
“With Andreas and CONGIV, we’re delighted to have gained a ROBUR partner who is at the forefront of promoting and executing innovation in the digital transformation of industry on a daily basis, including the implementation of 5G networks,” says Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO and Managing Partner of ROBUR, commenting on this development.
As an E2E network specialist, this new partner complements the group in a future market and is a fundamental element for the successful implementation of the digital transformation of industries.
Andreas Vollmer, Managing Director of CONGIV, adds: “With CONGIV, ROBUR is gaining valuable network/telecommunication technology expertise and we’re delighted to be further expanding the group’s service portfolio and providing customers with integrated services for optimizing their systems.”
Industry 4.0 solutions in particular, such as the cloud factory, can only be developed as an end-to-end solution. In addition to network specialists (CONGIV), close liaison with automation specialists (e.g. APE) as well as project and engineering specialists (e.g. TEC), ensures project success. ROBUR therefore provides all services from a single source.
“The inclusion of CONGIV allows ROBUR to consistently implement its strategy of creating a digitalisation and service platform specialising in industrial applications alongside its existing service portfolio,” concludes Florian Kopp, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ROBUR.
