With effect from July 1st, 2020, ROBUR WIND GmbH is taking over the Bremen-based company REETEC GmbH and will continue to run the business at the Bremen site. ROBUR WIND now has around 1000 employees and offers its customers the entire range of services for the long-term economic success of their onshore and offshore wind turbines. Furthermore, the group’s specialist area of aviation aid systems will be expanded by an important component by the summer of 2021 as they make the legally required switch to on-demand night-time marking.
Ever since it was founded in 2015, ROBUR has focused on supporting the ecological transformation of industry and power generation. Adding REETEC to the WIND Group extends this ambition still further and reinforces its position as a leading wind service specialist in Europe as well as North and South America.
The ROBUR WIND group, consisting of the companies ROSCH, YNFINITI, WKA, ROBUR BALTIC and ROBUR RODOPI, unites all skills and services relating to onshore and offshore wind turbines. They employ approximately 1000 technicians to provide the entire range of services from inspection, maintenance, repairs and replacement of large components to optimizations for their safe and economically successful operation.
Specialist expertise: aviation aid systems, onshore and offshore
Together with their new colleagues, ROBUR WIND is also expanding its range to include in-house development of aviation aid systems for wind turbines. An extensive portfolio of relevant products has been developed in Bremen over the past 20 years. The product range includes daytime and night-time markings, visibility control, tower markings, synchronization and demand-controlled lighting. ROBUR WIND can now provide your customers with its own certified solution quickly and from a single source, particularly for the mandatory switch to on-demand night-time marking by the summer of 2021 for the approximately 17,500 existing systems in Germany.
The 112 colleagues were welcomed warmly into the ROBUR WIND group. Together with the engineers and technicians around the world, they are ensuring that our energy can be produced sustainably and therefore actively participate in the ecological transformation of society.
